Keystone SMILES Community Learning Center is looking for an individual to work as a program supervisor for the Weed and Seed program located in Oil City. The Weed and Seed program is located at two church sites in Oil City. Keystone SMILES employees and AmeriCorps members implement youth programs for children living on the East End and Siverly communities.

Assist with preparation, serving and possible delivery of meal programs

Assist AmeriCorps and staff members with program activity planning and implementation

Mentor and supervise AmeriCorps members.

Mentor and supervise youth attending the programs.

Work collaboratively with staff

Assist with occasional service projects involving the Keystone SMILES AmeriCorps/Weed and Seed program.

Monday-Friday 1 pm-6:30 pm Monday-Thursday and Friday-8:30-1:30 pm

Occasional Saturday or Sunday service event

Hourly Wage – $9.50 -$10:50

Experience working with the public

Veterans Memorial

The Emlenton Mill was built in 1875 by James Bennett and was one of the first steam powered grist mills in Pennsylvania. This House of Trades project will began during AmeriCorps Awareness Week 2009.

MCHA Projects

Mercer County Housing Authority and Keystone SMILES AmeriCorps “House of Trades Project.” One of several service MCHA projects which included participation of volunteers in tandem with AmeriCorps.
