Revolution – Luckleberries #59, 27.89%, 2/24/2021

Random grab. Not much of a smell. But, after opening the jar a few times over a couple days it developed a strong berry scent. Very berry, sour berry. Ginger’ish. Another day of sitting in the jar and there’s a sweet creamy smell, hint of berries and a hint of mustiness. Seems to sometimes produce skunky room smells, but I don’t get that at all in the jar or smoking.

Crumbled up nicely and evenly for pipe smoking, very, very few stems.

Smokes towards harsh, but full and satisfying. Hits hard and leaves a lingering burn on the back of the throat but doesn’t sear the lungs. Smoke tastes a little flowery, musky, spicy. Honestly, none of those really stand out that much. I mean they’re there, but the smoke leans more towards flavorless.

I’ve been drinking a lot of coffee, but I do find this strain energizing. It comes on with a short-lived introspective and cerebral sit-down high that’s quickly followed, for me, by a mostly mindless boost of energy. Not at all anxious, just feeling that I want to be up and doing something. Moderate amounts result in a short, unnoticeable come down. After smoking higher amounts it completely knocks me on my ass to the point that I can barely keep my eyes open.

Duration is on the shorter side of things, for me anyway.

Irrelevant, but I’m not a fan of the strain name. It’s decent weed, no arguing that. Glad I tried it. While it doesn’t knock my socks off, it does seem to be a kind of a unique high. Tentatively in my top 10, maybe. But, I probably would only it buy again if the rest of the menu wasn’t for me.

Luckleberries Marijuana Strain

Indica Dominant Hybrid – 70% Indica / 30% Sativa
THC: 29%

Luckleberries, not to be confused with “Huckleberries,” is a rare indica dominant hybrid strain created through crossing the infamous Louis XIII X Huckleberry Kush #8 strains. Known for its insanely addictive flavor, Luckleberries brings together the best of sweet fruits and savory dank all in one delicious toke. You’ll experience sweet rich berries at inhale before exhaling pungent earth and heavy diesel that can leave you coughing. The aroma is very heavy, with a dank pungent overtone of diesel and earth with a rotting berry effect that’s released as the nugs are burned. The Luckleberries high is just as delicious as the flavor, with lifted effects that hit both mind and body with a heavy potency thanks to its 25-28% average THC level. You’ll feel the cerebral effects first that fill your mind with euphoria and creativity, lifting it away from any negative or racing thoughts. As your mind settles into a state of calm and peace, your body will begin to drop off into a relaxing body buzz that leaves you slightly sedated and immovable at times. Thanks to these effects and its high THC level, Luckleberries is often chosen to treat conditions such as chronic pain, migraines or headaches, muscle spasms, and chronic stress or anxiety. This bud has fluffy forest green spade-shaped nugs with long thin clearish amber hairs and a coating of sandy amber crystal trichomes.
