What is delta-8 THC?
Delta-8 is a variation of the familiar THC compound and it naturally occurs in most cannabis strains, but typically it’s only found in trace amounts. With the help of modern science, Delta-8 THC can be refined from Hemp extracts to create a new cannabis experiences. Delta-8 THC tends to have more calming and relaxing qualities compared to its Delta-9 THC counterpart.

What are the benefits of delta-8?
The benefits of Delta-8 THC vary for each individual, but it’s typically known for its reduced psychoactive qualities compared to the standard Delta-9 THC.

By combining both Delta-8 and live cannabis terpenes, our newest product helps limit the THC’s psychotropic activity, which can create a more relaxed experience for consumers and patients. Additionally, delta-8 connects to CB1 and CB2 receptors, and this bond tends to give you a more full-body effect.

Lifter Hemp Flower

Sunset Lake CBD’s 2021-2022 Lifter hemp flower tests at 21.43% total CBD, making it our most potent flower this year.

Lifter hemp flower is also a jack-of-all-trades strain. Lifter is also called “Heavy Lifter” because it’s plain reliable.

Mid-morning break? Smoke Lifter. After-work smoke session? Smoke Lifter. Taking a vacation that inevitably turns into a wacky series of misadventures with a romantic subplot? Smoke Lifter.

Lifter Genetics

Suver Haze #50 x Early Resin Berry | Oregon CBD Seeds

Like many CBD hemp flower strains, Lifter hemp flower can trace its roots back to some very high-yielding marijuana strains. Over time, geneticists have bred the THC out of the parent strains and bred CBD in. This technique has created bigger, high-CBD buds that look, smell, and smoke like traditional THC cannabis.

What Strain is Lifter?

Lifter is one of the staple strains from Oregon CBD Seeds. Even as an early CBD flower strain, Lifter has earned a place in everyone’s stash. Each and every bud is tremendous in sight, smell, and effect.

Is Lifter an Indica or Sativa?

Lifter hemp flower, like many hemp crosses, is Sativa-dominant. You can see the Sativa genetics really shine through in the flowering phase as Lifter plants reach upwards, sending their massive colas more than six feet in the air.

Does Lifter Get You High?

Smoking Sunset Lake CBD’s Lifter hemp flower will not make you feel high or intoxicated.

To be considered hemp flower and not marijuana, smokable hemp must contain less than 0.3% d9-THC by dry weight. Instead of feeling high, as you would with traditional marijuana, you might feel much more relaxed or chilled when you smoke Lifter.

How Does Lifter Hemp Flower Make You Feel?

Smoking Lifter hemp flower will make you feel uplifted and functional. Lifter has become a popular anytime strain because it doesn’t sedate you as much as other strains are known to.

Lifter: Aroma and Taste

Lifter hemp flower’s aroma is complex. Some will say that they smell sweet blueberry pie. Others will notice pungent, aged cheese with a little bit of a diesel finish.

Growing Information

We germinated our Lifter hemp flower in our new greenhouses up in Vermont’s Champlain Islands. Once they were big enough to transplant, we moved the Lifter seedlings out into their rows outdoors.

We do not use any pesticides at any point during germination, growing, flowering or harvesting. Instead, with guidance from the University of Vermont extension school, we used an integrated pest management system and employed the use of Trichogramma parasitic wasps, assassin bugs, and ladybugs to control unwanted pests.

Lifter Hand-Trimmed Flower Or Smalls?

There isn’t much difference between our jars of hand-trimmed Lifter CBD flower and our pouches of Lifter smalls.

The buds that make it into our hand-trimmed jars are bigger and we take more care to ensure that every jar has shelf appeal. The Lifter smalls are sorted, machine-trimmed buds that are leftover and broken off during the hand-trimming process.

Sunset Lake CBD’s Lifter Reviews

Colin S. | My New Favorite CBD Flower

“Was so sticky fresh when it arrived. I think it’s the first CBD strain that I have ever seen like that. Such a good day time smoke. I can function even better on this than I can on caffeine. Some other CBD strains make me kinda sleepy or too relaxed for the morning or afternoon. Making it hard to run errands. Lifter works great to even my moods and just focus on what I’m doing. Thanks to Sunset Lake and all the nice folks working hard to grow this.”

“Beautiful green buds. Lovely aroma. Vapes nicely at 180°C. A few tokes at bedtime promote a very restful night’s sleep. Also seems to reduce muscle soreness if used before/after a weight workout.”

Lori L. | Pain relief, not harsh

“For me it’s pain relief and Lifter delivers that. It’s a smooth flower to smoke. Recommend.”

Love my Lifter s!! This type in particular has helped with my anxiety immensely. Definitely get a nice warm, tingly feeling through my body with this one and I feel like my body actually relaxes. Not harsh on the pull and acts quickly. I’ll keep coming back for this one for sure!

Steven M. writes:

I have now tried all the available flower strains from Sunset Lake, and I can say with certainty that Lifter is my favorite. They are all fantastic, but Lifter is a step above the rest in my opinion. The flavor profile is on point and doesn’t feel heavy at all. Some of the other strains would be better for night time, but Lifter is by far the best daytime strain option. Perfect for enjoying a nice walk, hike, day on the beach or any other outdoor activity. I have tried the smalls and large buds, and both are top notch quality.

Lifter always lifts my spirits!
